I can’t believe we are half way through 2017 already. What a fabulous 6 months it has been. One of my goals this year has been to start a blog about my artistic journey. I have been procrastinating about it for too long, thinking how should I do it, what shall I say and when to start. Here goes ……
Art has always been a part of my life whether it was splashing paint around as a toddler or graduating with a Fine Arts Degree. I continued my passion for art as a teacher and love passing on my knowledge and skills to others whether it is to children in the classroom or my popular adult workshops.
The turning point in my career was getting my cataracts removed 7 years ago. I was amazed in what I could see again. From that moment on my artistic journey has grown from strength to strength. I can’t believe what I have achieved in the last 7 years. It is about time I start blogging it.
This is my studio which I had built on to my home in Taupo, New Zealand a couple of years ago. It is my happy space. One of the rare opportunites you will get to see It clean for the Taupo Art Trail which was over Queen’s Birthday weekend. It is our 5th Arts Trail organised by Taupo Art Connection.
Come and take a tour around my studio and start following what my artistic plans are going to be for the next 6 months.
